capital city, the Peppara Wildlife Sanctuary is spread over an area of 53 sq.

rich population of mammalian fauna and is emerging as a big attraction to

PAPPARA WILDLIFE SANCTUARY
Location: Vazhuthacaud, in the
heart of Thiruvananthapuram city. The Indian School of Martial Arts (ISMA) was
established in 1983 and is recognised by the Government of India and Sports
Council as an ideal training centre for the 5000 year old martial art, Kalarippayattu.
ISMA is also a place for healing and rejuvenation, since Mr.Balachandran Nair
who set up the organisation hails from a family of warrior healers.
KANYAKUMARI:
87 km away from
Thiruvananthapuram, it is located at junction at the southernmost tip of India
where the three water bodies, namely, Bay of Bengal, the Arabian Sea and the
Indian Ocean meet. From here, one can see the sun rise from use Bay of Bengal
and set in the Arabian Sea. It is a holy place for Hindus because of the
Kanyakumari Temple. The Gandhi Smarak Mandir and Vivekananda Rock Memorial are
additional tourist attractions.
